Jeshua Zapata
president /co-founder
An entrepreneur from the outset, Jeshua is every bit the classic (and classy) executive. Sharp and driven, creative and tech-savvy, he drives the workflow at Xzito, constantly pushing the team to exceed expectations for our growing list of clients.
His career began with MetLife Auto & Home Insurance. There he established the project management, process review and information technology skills that laid the foundation needed for his role as President. A graduate of Bryant University, with a degree in Business Administration focused on Computer Information Systems and a minor in Communications, Jeshua formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Junior Achievement, the American Marketing Association and English For Action.
When his non-stop duties as President end, you can catch him playing soccer with friends or reading the latest motivational books by Robert Kiyosaki and Napolean Hill.
Juan Gomez
web director / co-founder
It's tough to catch Juan during working hours. He's usually in his office, knee-deep in designing a new web site or researching the latest business-changing technology. But don't mistake his stellar work ethic for being anti-social. Juan is as friendly as they come. As Web Solutions Director, he thrives on building client relationships so he can help improve their online presence. He has uncanny abilities in front-end development and user experience design developed through his years at MetLife where he worked on everything from user interface design and site architectures, XHTML/CSS markup and web ads, to providing design direction to upper management.
Juan is a graduate of Rhode Island College, with a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art. To clear his mind after we release him, he enjoys scuba diving, riding his motorcycle, and listening to music.
Jairo Gomez
design director / co-founder
We're still waiting for a design challenge Jairo can't solve. From print ads to logo design to complex package design, Jairo draws from his varied range of experience. Before founding Xzito, Jairo laid out creative and publication work for Providence en Espanol, and worked as a jewelry designer and illustrator for Herff Jones. At Franklin Sports he designed packages for brand name giants like Nickelodeon, the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL. As Creative Director he understands both print and web design, and the printing process. He's currently working on ways to implement new technology like Augmented Reality into clients' communications strategies.
For fun, Jairo loves skiing and scuba diving. And if he's not at work or on another outdoor adventure, he's probably spending time with family and friends.
Marcela Vallejo
accounting & collections
Marcela loves numbers, so it's no surprise that she manages the financial aspect of our organization. Outside of work you can find her studying hard for her accounting degree, as she is currently working towards completing her degree as a CPA at the University of Rhode Island. You'll also find Marcela spending quality time with her family…and Puchi, her beautiful and crazy Shih Tzu, who does not take direction from anyone, including her owner.
Steven palacio
graphic/ web designer
Steven never had a bad day in his life. Or at least that's the impression you get working with him. After obtainig his bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, he moved to Rhode Island to apply his degree on a bigger canvas. At Xzito, Steven works on web design, animation and print design work.
In his spare time Steven volunteers with English for Action, teaching Spanish to Latino immigrants. To unwind, it's the gym or his PS3. (Probably both, in that order.)
Andrea Tager
copywriter
As the wordsmith of our team, Andrea knows what to say and how to say it. A fellow classmate of Xzito President, she also knows what Xzito has to say and is happy to provide copywriting support for the team. Andrea has BSBA and MBA degrees from Bryant University and has an extensive range of copywriting experience.
When she's not spelling things out, she enjoys singing, dancing, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
Timmy Wong
web developer
Timmy's expertise is in using web technologies to simplify everyday life, automate mundane tasks, and reduce long-term maintenance. He hails from Bryant University, with a dual Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Sciences (CIS) and Applied Actuarial Mathematics (AAM). In his free time, Timmy volunteers with The National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP).
Jeremiah Stover
web developer
We haven't found any application Jeremiah has not been able to develop. He loves to create custom applications and has been involved in a variety of custom development projects. Jeremiah is extremely detail- and quality-oriented; he is our guru in MySQL, PHP, Java, C++.
In his spare time, believe it or not, Jeremiah is learning new programming languages.
Puffy
head of security
Puffy has no formal security training, but he has excellent sense and a great attitude – very important traits for the head of security. Puffy worked his way up through the office ranks, supporting the Xzito staff with chewing and ripping up poor creative ideas. Puffy's interests include spending time with Puchi, his girlfriend (and, soon-to-be wife), chasing sticks, and detecting poor creative execution. Sometimes you will see Puffy in meetings ensuring all work gets completed appropriately, and, depending on the meeting, you might find him taking a quick snooze.
